Smocking    -   Tutor: Carol Karl

Carol is a Wellington based Tutor who has a New Zealand wide reputation.  She will take beginners through the basics of smocking.  Create heirlooms for your children, grandchildren and family members.  You will begin with a small piece and over two Saturdays learn "how to" create your own very special garments.

Some homework required.

Creative Design    -   Tutor: Carol McDonald

Carol takes you through the creation of your very own stitchery, learning "how to" create charts for your own ideas.  Break free of having to purchase kits.  Transferring your charts to either fabric - Aida or canvas.

Start small and perhaps this will lead you to create gifts and creations for your own home and friends.

Hardanger    -   Tutor: Ann Parker

This is an opportunity to learn Hardanger with such a renowned Tutor.

You will learn the basics over a three week period which will enable you to carry on and make further pieces in your own time.

Beginning with a small piece, Ann will demonstrate  the basic stitches and be on hand over the three weeks to answer any questions.

Crazy Patchwork    -   Tutor: Brenda Richens

Learn Crazy Patchwork with a skilled and talented Tutor.

Brenda will demonstrate all the skills required to complete a Crazy Patchwork bag complete all the embellishing over a three week period.  A kit is provided with the class, but feel fee to bring anything you wish to complete the bag in your own unique style.

Beginners can easily manage this class and advanced patchworkers will enjoy the freedom of the lack of precision.

Knit a Creative Wrap   -  Tutor: Carol McDonald

Come and have some fun with this exciting new Tutor.

This class is possible for beginners and advanced knitters alike.  Learn an exciting and innovative way to knit and go on to create your own style and look.

Two classes to learn the skills rquired with the "Fish and Chips" Friday if you nee anything further.

Ribbon Embroidery -   Tutor: Mary Fisher

The Embroidery Shop's own "in house" Ribbon Embroiderer.

Mary will take you through all the steps to create your very own Angel with ribbon embroidery embellishment.

Some additional sewing is required to be completed at home.
